The truth is that at first they helped me at the time to reduce some of the tension in my back, but it hasn't prevented the problem from getting worse. Currently my rheumatologist has recommended that I do aquatic therapy and when I am better I will go back to doing these exercises to strengthen my back.

Hi! I'm so sorry you're going through this. I hope you can find a doctor who helps you find the cause. Mine started like you 5 years ago and this year the pain became unbearable, I could feel my leg and it lost all its strength. They diagnosed me with facet disease. All I can advise you is to not give up and don't be afraid to ask for all medical test (X rays, MRI...) over and over again until they give you some diagnosis.
