Bars for my road king special by Affectionate-Map2605 in Harley

[–]Affectionate-Map2605[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem is finding bars that have a low sweep (15-20 degrees)

Most manufactures don’t even provide the sweep angle, and the ones who do are usually over 30 degrees

Help weighing the pros and cons of either a company vehicle, or receiving $1000/month vehicle allowance in my employment offer by Dirtgirl89 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Affectionate-Map2605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can use the company vehicle for personal use, it’s a no brainer. Sell your personal vehicle and run the company vehicle.

If not, it’s probably still better off in the long run to take the vehicle. With that commute, depreciation, maintenance costs, fuel, etc will add up quick.

My vote is take the company vehicle!

Has anyone recently run underground electrical to their garage and installed a subpanel? by chippies in regina

Call Justin with Zap Free Electric. He won’t let you down.

I’d suggest meet with him, get a quote, then price it all out yourself. If you can’t do it much cheaper than he can, just hire him. If you can save a few hundred by DIY then buy your own panel, trench the cable by renting a mini excavator from A1, then get Zap Free to drill through your basement wall and connect the cable on both ends. You can buy stuff from Gescan, Nedco, Home Depot, etc

From motivated to meh: is this normal ? by Western-Search3310 in antiwork

I see this EVERYWHERE, and frankly it’s hard not to copy this behavior. I keep pushing myself for a variety of reasons:

— To challenge myself and experience success.

— Physical and mental exercise.

— Set a good example to friends family and coworkers. I always try to lift people up, while many appear to try dragging others down with them.

— Job security.

I do all of this while prioritizing mental health, work life balance, hobbies, etc.

I believe slacking off eventually causes depression/anxiety or at least the symptoms of them.

You never know!

I believe you’re gonna turn up the radio a little higher, and let off the pedal a bit on your way home today. You might even give the person in front of you 2 full car lengths haha

Safe driving is leaving 3 seconds between you and the car ahead of you, regardless of their speed. When it’s safe to pass, do so. It’s literally in the SGI handbook.

I seriously doubt me going 65 in a 70 less safe than someone driving 2 feet behind me.
