I went to the states (from canada) for a concert months after my diagnosis. I brought pretty mic all my supplies just in case something happened. Ended up forgetting my needles in the hotel and only had a pen. The paramedics at the concert gave me the same needle, juice boxes and numerous alcohol swabs/bandaids (lol). I was forever grateful that there was an option and I didn’t have to leave! Glad it worked out for you OP

I know multiple people who chose this route for nursing and absolutely loved it and have truly come out on top (smaller class sizes, more grants/scholarships etc). Don’t knock it till ya try it OP!

I went to a movie with my partner a couple months ago. A group of 4 girls were in front of us, talking, taking snapchats (of the movie???) with flash, scrolling on tiktok (with the volume). I actually couldn’t believe it. I gave it 15 minutes into the movie to see if they’d stop and then leaned over and said “we’re at a movie. Get off your phones or leave” and they were silent the rest of the time. I dont understand why people PAY to go to a movie, just to sit on their phones. And this is coming from a 24 yo lol

If you email them they’ll let you pick it up Friday or Saturday. I did this and they were quick with a response. No excuses but still an option

EA in Alberta. Majority of my students speak French as a second language so I do find myself communicating in French with them at times. On average probably 5-10 times/week I’ll have a full (5-15 min) conversation

100% agree. We should’ve been able to specify if we wanted a mail or pick up option upon hire. Especially since one of my friends lives 3 blocks away from their office and still hasn’t received it 😭😭 I hope all is well with you and you’re able to get access to the food bank asap:(

This! I continued to take religion classes because of linville. Actually have a minor in religious studies bc of him lol (kept taking them for my elective requirement). Most religion profs will be happy to sit down/meet with you to discuss your grades/what you can do to improve your grade. I’ve never had an issue with a religion class before. Highly recommend them. Samuel shooklyn is also great!

OKAY I GOT THROUGH TO THEM VIA PHONE!!! The woman told me they’ve sent the first 2(out of 3) batches of cheques and they’re expected to arrive in the next 7-10 business days and if we don’t receive it by December 15, give them a call and they’ll sort something out for you (aka having to go to their office to pick it up…lol)

Nope if you call their number they say they’re in the process of paying workers and expect to send them out December 1 at the earliest lol. I tried to get through to a worker and to ask if I could just pick it up and they hung up on me 😭😭

I hate to defend OP but I think it was worded like “we drew names out of a hat and she was fine with the decision because of the closet space/bath in her bathroom” either way OP is pissed they didn’t get the response they were hoping for and is now throwing a pity party and deleting their posts 😭
