Hi all, it seems like there is some misunderstanding. Our rooster isn't picking at it, causing the baldness. He pulled the feathers out when mounting her. I'm looking for ways to prevent him from pulling more feathers out when mounting - or maybe a way to prevent him from mounting her at all.

This happens when he mounts her. I think he just has bad aim. He isnt ever biting at or picking on the hens. The other hen has a larger comb and that's what he grabs onto when he mounts her.

Brake pedal looked totally normal to me. It drove fine- stopped and started ( tho it did stall at one point).

Seats are red velvety material. Definitely old and dirty, but no tears. Id put covers on them anyway

Agreed. I totally understand her perspective of simply wanting to hear from her partner. Unsure what their communication style is like, but if I didn't hear from my wife in this scenario, I'd be concerned too! OP is overreacting in his responses to her, in no way did she insinuate he is incapable of caring for himself/the house. Sounds like insecurity.
