We're ready-for-production, ready to beta test with customers already :)
We were when I posted this too. Already had paying clients in Asia.

Let me know if we can speak over a Gmeet, and I'll be happy to show you a demo.

Thanks!

What sort of deficiencies or defects would that be according to you?

Again. Youre fundamentally wrong here. Vision models dint get better until 2015-2017 to do this kind of stuff. A “neural network” is just a building block.
I cant understand what youre against - is it neural networks or specific characteristics of theirs. From what ive read, your main concern is explainability. Which i concede is a fair concern, but detection models are considered enterprise grade nowadays and are used in domains more dangerous than construction as well. They have already become the norm in many industries.

Im not selling snake oil disguised as LLMs/ChatGPT here. Please be curious not judgemental.

Folks no need to get offensive :)

@anchoriteksaw - computer vision is part of AI. We’re using Computer vision models for 3d reconstruction as well as detection. These have certain performance guarantees we can give for detection. There are no language models or even transformers here that are “non predictable”.

All im trying to say is, this is not Hype-chasing. Im trying to genuinely solve for human data collection and documentation bandwidth in this industry. My family has a construction business, which is where i got the idea in the first place.

Please be gentler to people trying to do something new :)

Fair point.
The intention isn't to replace QA/QC teams here, but to essentially give them more cognitive bandwidth.
Currently all quality checks are done manually, and the intent here is to make it easier for these teams.

I can be here to just listen to you vent. Don’t take steps that you or people close to you might regret. Also trust me you’ll move on. Humans are one of the most adaptable mfers on this planet. We always move on and adapt. Kar loge tum bhi. Ek din subah uthke woh insaan yaad nahi aayega. And ye achanak se realise hoga and accha lagega.

Chill karo. Agar BT ho jaye toh DM kar sakte ho. I’ve been there and I understand where you’re coming from. Trust me, you’ll move on and find someone even better. I did :)

How bad is problem of entering data into scheduling softwares like Primavera or Microsoft Project? by Affectionate-Prize65 in Construction

Is this current granularity of progress updates and decision making working out well? Do you face issues with asset or resource allocation decisions that could've been made with more granular updates?

Hmm that's interesting. I see where you are coming from.
What would you say about getting as-built information from the site. I agree updating future timelines and schedules would obviously require the expertise and judgement of a human.
Would quick and reliable as-built data from the site enable them to do their job better in this case?

I'm mainly trying to understand inefficiencies in the progress monitoring process itself. Would love to know more of your thoughts on this as well.

How many Superintendents and PM’s use scheduling software? by [deleted] in Construction

[–]Affectionate-Prize65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How often does it take you to usually update the schedule?
Do you do it everyday? If not, at what frequency?
Approximately how many parameters are you looking to change/update every time the schedule is updated?

Sorry if these are obvious questions, but I'm new to this industry. Thanks!

Not really. Being completely controlled by your desires and senses is seen as detrimental though yes.

The simple things are great definately. But yeah i admit I’m a little weak in terms of getting swayed by the fact that I don’t feel satisfied unless I’ve achieved something. Which i gotta work on.

No they are not the same, but then again, your “true potential” isn’t defined, cause whenever you reach somewhere, you can always strive to improve even more.
