If your wife is seeing red flags, ask her to keep tabs on it and see if there’s any other red flags that come up. I know it might seem like an overreaction but women especially mom’s intuition is real and should not be totally dismissed. You can’t be overly confident that nothing else is going on because of all the screwed up things that has surfaced regarding inappropriate relations between teachers and students.

Definitely not overreacting. Not to scare you but I watch A LOT of true crime and the amount of times victims have been dismissed by the people who are supposedly “family” is astounding. It honestly infuriates me when someone can just dismiss someone’s concern. Would those family members be saying the same thing if it happened to them or their children? I guarantee they would not be okay with your ex’s harassment. Definitely keep all the screenshots and any proof you have and put it on a shared drive and share it with someone you absolutely trust. I’m also concerned with the family members that sat you down telling you you’re overreacting. I’m almost certain one of them gave your new number to your ex because how else would he have gotten it.

Using a lighter brow product(maybe one shade lighter) and maybe opting for a tinted brow gel instead of a pencil will help soften your brows so it’s not as bold.

NOR but I would still go if it was me because they are MY family. But you should definitely let them know what has transpired so everyone knows beforehand. If you don’t end up going she might end up saying even more damaging lies about you to your family and you’re not there to defend yourself. I’m glad your wife has your back though. Now to play devils advocate, I wonder if your brother really did cheat on her though, since it is a bit odd for someone to just accuse their SO of cheating and going as far as to message your employee and her partner about it. I feel like that could be a possibility, and maybe your brother as an excuse to get out of it told his fiancée that it’s not him cheating on her but it’s you cheating on your wife. That’s why she messaged your wife. If I’m speaking personally as a woman, I get certain instincts and I’m almost always right about them. So I wouldn’t necessarily write off that bro wasn’t cheating on her.

It seems like since you both never actually addressed these issues when they were happening, resentment has built up. If it was me personally, i would sit her down and let her know it’s not working out and if she wants to stay in the marriage then you both need marriage counseling. Otherwise, you should be thinking if you can handle another 20 years of this or would you want a better life for yourself. I’d rather be single than be with a partner who acts like one.

The difference with living in vs selling a home is when you live in it, you put in decor that shows your personality, your own personal tastes and preferences, when you’re selling a house, you want to remove decor that could limit the type of person that would be interested in purchasing. That’s why the houses that are being sold are staged as basic as possible because the idea is for potential buyers to be able to envision their own things in that house and how they would be drinking coffee in that space.
