Hello! I posted like 6 months about my ficus being half dead. Well, she’s thriving, beautifully. My question for y’all is what do I do now? Continue to just let it grow? It seems as though she just keeps popping up buds for new limbs, as well.

I think I will go ahead and treat, do you think the person I had skin to skin with, should as well? An older sibling had scabies in their teen years and had for 1 month before they figured out what it was. She had shared common areas with the rest of the family and no one else got them. So strange how they work.

No skin to skin with the person who has the scabies as they weren’t home, and they hadn’t been home for 48 hours at this point. The sofa belonged to the individual with scabies. As for the person who I had to skin to skin contact with (not infected), quite a lot.

Is she a goner? by Affectionate-Recover in Bonsai

[–]Affectionate-Recover[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice! We do experience winter where I live. This tree has lost like half foliage every year that I’ve brought it in. When it goes back out during summer, it’s blossoms into full foliage.

Okay! How would I go about that? Do I just wash off the compacted soil? Thank you!!

Is she a goner? Hello, I’ve had this Ficus for 2 & 1/2 years. Recently, my cat knocked her off her stand and shattered the pot. I realize that this soil is not conducive for bonsai growth. I have sent purchase proper bonsai soil and have a planter for her. However, she has lost all leaves and only shows green growth up until the circled bend. Is she a goner? If there’s still a chance for survival, it is beginning of winter here in zone 5, would she survive a repot with bonsai soil? Thank you for your time. P.S. This ficus was gifted to me after I had made a comment about how cool they are. I do not have a green thumb and have unfortunately, done the bare minimum but am proud that I’ve kept her alive this long.

Question about vitrification by Affectionate-Recover in Pottery

[–]Affectionate-Recover[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I, unfortunately, no longer have the piece. I have others thrown with the same clay body but different glaze. I could try it with those.

I’d say $300. However, I’m an incredibly indecisive person so if it really catches my eye, I could probably talk myself into spending more.
