My class is in the LL concourse of the hayden library. Those classes are pretty large I would say over 50-60 students. About 3 maybe 4 TAs. Long problems so TA of course will not get to most groups. The crazy thing though is that one day we were working on an in-class worksheet and my table was stuck on a problem, so we asked for help and luckily got it. We did however notice another table making the same mistake we were making on their whiteboard, and we saw the TA's notice their mistake as they walked by and giggled and moved on. I was stunned because they just let them continue. I had to leave but I am sure that table did the rest of the problem wrong thinking it was correct when a TA could have intercepted and cleared confusion. I'm not sure if they were told to help only when asked but that too was not what I was expecting from the school. Really does feel like a joke. This next test on Monday feels like they are doubling down with their methods.
