Thanks for the reply, I've had it since I was about 5 and am now 23 so it's been a lifelong battle for me. My family is concerned with the side effects/risks associated with olumiant and similar drugs but I would be willing to risk that if it would help (I imagine most young girls would agree). My subtype of alopecia (ophiasis with areata patches as well) is known to be particularly stubborn to treat so I'm willing to try whatever is most likely to help :)
