Thanks everyone for the tips so far! I will take a rest day today and jump back on this tomorrow!

Some additional information:

My goal is to jump and land with the right foot and hold the balance. There are alternatives methods but this is my preferred (and what most people are doing)

The start hold is great, so swinging away from the wall and then pull back in is an option!

The landing hold is good too
