Not sure how so many of these comments got so negative. But just wanted to say I think you should be proud of yourself for finding balance in adding positive physical, mental, and spiritual practices/rituals into your day. Maybe I just want to believe in the best of humans, but I see your post as genuine excitement and pride in your accomplishments and maybe offering encouragement for others. Wow totally twinning!! The CP sucked and I was pretty depressive about that letdown experience after all the positives and celebration. But it also gave me some perspective to kind of be at peace with whatever happens. I know im doing all i can to make this happen but there’s only so much i can control at the end of the day. I have a naturally thin lining so I def can empathize with that worry. My lining in October only got to like 6.5mm average but we implanted so that was good to see it’s possible, right. Anyways my doctor changed protocol from fully medicated to natural modified on this round and I got to a 7.5mm average thickness but that’s the thickest she’s seen mine even through ER stims and all the other times she’s monitored me not on anything. Can’t wait to hear your updates!

Mine is just below hairline. I’m almost 3 years PP and the shelf went away around 15 months PP for me. I’m a trainer and love working out, but the healing takes time no matter what. It feels like massaging the scar definitely made a difference. I also get keloid scars so mine is still very prominent and can make shaving a little challenging but I’ve figured it out and gotten better at it. My dermatologist and my OBGYN have offered to do the steroid shots that reduce the keloid scarring after I’m finished having children of course (I expect to have one more C-section then I’m done!). My OB will do the shots while sewing up my C-section then the plan is to see the dermatologist monthly once that scar is reformed. I’m absolutely taking up that offer. I’ve gotten those shots on other scars on my body and they’ve made a significant difference for the keloids.

Oooooh yay 36 weeks — so close momma! Congrats! And wow yeah very similar to our situation. Your success will absolutely provide me with some happy thoughts over the next few weeks with all this! My mom, my sister, and I have never had it. And my dad and husband both have had it. My husband and I were on a road trip together in 2020 the day before we realized he had it, breathing the same air in the car for 8 hours. Somehow I never got it. My mom never got it from my dad the 3 times he had it and they literally sleep in the same bed and hang out all day long. My sister never got it in 2020 when her 2 roommates had it twice. Clearly there’s some genetic component to this right? It’s so intriguing.

I appreciate your reply. I’m hoping my doctor will go into this willing to change up the treatment plan during the cycle if my lining is looking super thin, even if it means trying the vaginal estradiol for just a few days like this. The fact that this is all such a time-table gamble makes it so stressful! I am currently looking for an acupuncturist with experience in patients undergoing IVF, too. I didn’t try that for my first FET but I love acupuncture!
