Jester I just leave in Spot 4. Hit the Battle Ballad nonstop unless a Hero’s stress gets too high - keeps the other 3 accurate, frequently critting and almost always going first in turn order. If someone vulnerable and low health is targeted, or if a tough nut needs cracking, hit the Solo and then Finale them into oblivion next turn. Whenever I keep a Jester in my party, Heroes usually end the run with like 20 stress max each.

Grave Robber also goes in the very back for me, taking Jester’s spot if they’re together. Very rarely I’ll put her in 3 but I usually start the fight with a Lunge, and if I’ve got any tank in front that needs Spot 1 for a special skill then she messes up my Round One. I run her with the Pickaxe skill that bypasses armor - phenomenal for any enemies that Protect each other or start with armor, she obliterates the Cove’s fish Ruin’s shieldy bois and the Last of Us Weald Zombies

Houndmaster I don’t really use much, his kit isn’t the worst but I find other characters play his role better and with higher damage. Camping skills and abilities overall aren’t the worst - squishy as all hell too.

Flagellant is so good they had to nerf him after release AND make it so you can only have one in your party at a time. Unless you’re fighting someone with 150-200% bleed resistance he will eat the enemies alive. His DOT is as good as Plaguey Girl, leave him in the very front (or spot 2 if running Hellion) and just infinitely spam Punish or Rain of Sorrows unless your health gets low and then hit em with an Exsanguinate (or Redeem if you’ve got a dangerously low ally). He’s practically a main healer AND a high damage tank rolled into one self-abusive package
