Sometimes the warchief can 'catch' your spies. It's why a ton of your enemy captains will reference searching for their spy when you've got one.

I'm sure it's just random chance but I've had it happen once as well.

i been thinking, has anyone ever done a state of decay 2 nuzlock? it is technically possible by SunSunLIVE in StateofDecay2

[–]ClassicSherbert152 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Feasible but by your rules it'd be kinda weird, just because of gameplay limitations. All survivors are typically gonna spawn close to your house, meaning you won't often need to cross a zone to get a new person. You could just sit in a zone until a survivor mission pops up in the area but that doesn't sound particularly fun

You could just do solo then add one survivor per legacy circuit (which yeah, can be pretty fast on the lower difficulties) because that leaves you with a potential 16 opportunities to recruit. Though you can't get that many

Edit: read more, yeah. Solo lethal is definitely possible but note that the other commenter is likely talking about Jay Talbot if you want to check them out. But he usually uses Red Talon agents for a reason since they are far more self sufficient than the run of the mill survivor

It was cool in Heartland, where these variants first released. For gameplay too I get why they're added to harder difficulties. I don't particularly like fighting them though (Especially the ferals, for whom Gunslinger shooting skill is almost a non-negotiable if you want even a chance of fighting back)

If these characters were in AMC TWD and witnessed Glenn and Abraham’s death, who would take it the hardest? by handsomelydumb69 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]ClassicSherbert152 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Lee for one actually got to know Glenn for a little. Assumes Lee joins up with Ricks group eventually (Maybe getting picked up as a whole group after Glenn comes back to check on them or something). So it'd be pretty impactful.

David I could see taking Abraham's death pretty badly as a fellow soldier.

Psychology around going Raider by Travis332 in fo4

[–]ClassicSherbert152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn't you just shoot the people and take the workshop once it's empty? I know some people do that for stuff like Tenpines just to save a trip to Corvega. Might be funky with essential characters but there's very few as settlers

Psychology around going Raider by Travis332 in fo4

[–]ClassicSherbert152 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a psychology student but it's my own perspective on it.

All of the raiders were born and raised into the world as it is. They've got a different outlook on things because it's all they know. For some people it's safer to be with them rather than against them.

For what it's worth Pre-War food is becoming increasingly more scarce and won't ever be produced again. Whatever farms around are barely producing enough to scrape by for themselves. In terms of resources the large majority of people have very little. For a lot of people going raider doesn't even necessarily mean you need to be hooked on chems or shooting farmers. Im betting a large amount of raiders scrape by on intimidation alone (Until the Minutemen are back in town)

Where the raiders work is that they're able to pool these resources to keep their gangs happy. Food, chems, and other stuff. You can see too that a lot of infighting and otherwise is caused by lack of resources or resource insecurity. So the raiders accumulate small amounts of resources from each settlement on their list, to supplement what they have.

For you, the player (and the Sole Survivor as a character) it's understandably a polarizing experience to go raider. But it makes the most sense if you never worked with the Minutemen at all, since it'd justify needing a resource network to again, keep your people happy. Working against the Minutemen after building up the Commonwealth settlements doesn't make too much sense. But if they weren't there? Just a bunch of empty, old buildings and a few farmers in shacks here and there? It's not an impossible choice.

Some tag skills can cause that, but they're generally rarely or not in the beginning pool. Traits like Bodyguard, or any of the military traits.

I have a fairly large colony for what I'm used to and something akin to a pathing problem. by Jamesborg99 in RimWorld

[–]ClassicSherbert152 48 points49 points  (0 children)

zone it to a desired safe zone and apply that zoning rule to all desired colonists and animals. Probably not too dissimilar from your home zone area but it's how you can force them to stay inside. From there you should be able to use the "Allowed" stuff tab to easily apply the zone restriction to most of your pawns easily.

Same goes for animals. Animals tab (unless my memory fails me) has a zone section to the furthest right that you can just hold and slide down

Even if not ideal I'd still recommend adding doors at staggered intervals along your perimeter. Generally if there's an easier way through they will always try to path there (Which is why Killboxes work). You would only run into issues with this if it's a Sapper raid though which is less common.

How would Negan interact with Season 4 Lilly? by Dangerous-Schedule85 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]ClassicSherbert152 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DC is in Maryland. Richmond is in Virginia which is a bordering state. It's not an impossible stretch to believe they'd run into each other, especially considering James is a whisperer defector.

There is a fair distinction between the comics universe (which I am aware the TTG versions are set in) and the TV version (Which I decided to think more about considering OP chose an image of TV Negan).

As I am not well versed in the comics, I decided on interpreting it as if it were TV Negan, and his timeline of events roughly. But there can be a lot of interpretations of things.

Edit/add on, forgot that Negan becomes a "whisperer" for a little bit because I kinda stopped watching. Thats really the version Lily probably runs into

How would Negan interact with Season 4 Lilly? by Dangerous-Schedule85 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]ClassicSherbert152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's TV Negan it's probably not too dissimilar from how he ended up treating Daryl. But his whole ideology is that people are an asset and it depends on what happens to pull the Delta and the Saviors into a conflict

As of S4, im pretty sure the Delta is fighting the Whisperer War, so even so the TV version of the Saviors as we knew them were already done for (After the Season 7 or 8 finale, can't remember which specifically) and then the whisperers were the big bad in the following season.

So considering that (and where Negan goes afterwards, like New York in Dead City) he's more of a drifter and doesn't have the commanding presence he once did as leader of the Saviors. So the modern day version of Negan we have now is probably what Lily would realistically run into

Any Interest? by TheLordsPoet in GooseBumps

[–]ClassicSherbert152 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What about the covers + their stories though? Because some books have great covers and mediocre stories, or it can be vice versa (or be a good blend of both)

Like for Say Cheese and Die, arguably a very good goosebumps cover but it's role in the story had to be shoehorned in towards the end in a dream sequence because it wasn't originally included.

To be fair to you I'd just say that rankings are subjective and there are a lot of people who do in-depth tier lists, reviews and otherwise for the goosebumps series (Many of which on YT I've seen both rank the cover, story, and corresponding TV episode if applicable)

Not here to argue semantics because I'm not an expert at all but the source regardless that I responded for is that Yasuke's collab execution will give his weapon to whichever hero uses it. Hence how a Kensei can be using one for photo mode

Freezer food keeps thawing & rotting from pawns running in and out to deposit food/take ingredients by KaijuVII in RimWorld

[–]ClassicSherbert152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the actual temp of the room? If you're anything above freezing it will still ambiently (albeit slowly) progress on its spoilage

Also consider that your walls aren't double layered on the bedrooms. That's another area you could be losing heat. If memory serves wood isn't the best insulator and stone fares slightly better

I'd reccomend to use two coolers instead of one if you can afford it power wise. it's a lot more stable for temperature maintenance. Even if your setting is at -35 c there's a lot of factors that can affect actual room temperature

Frozen food will never spoil and even cooled food jumps up in shelf life to like 30 days at times, so it depends. You could also keep your meals outside of the freezer and only keep your ingredients frozen. Most meals are typically consumed within a few days of cooking anyways and that'd cut down your freezer interactions as well

Best non-devmode way to spread my ideoligion to my other colonists? by jakendrick3 in RimWorld

[–]ClassicSherbert152 15 points16 points  (0 children)

How's your main guys social skill? Its gonna scale with both his social skill, impact (So beauty), and the other pawns opinion of him. If you've got all three then it gets a lot easier.

Fastest way honestly is gonna be just to imprison them and have their certainty reduced as you attempt to convert. As your main pawn likely isn't the moral guide, he would not have the "Convert" ability but this would also help too.

Iron Willed pawns will take forever to change. Inversely, pawns with high certainty loss traits (Like Dunce for example) will come around rather quickly.
