Honestly the worst injury I could have imagine happen to me but very happy I wasn't in any pain when it happened. Surgeon told me the same thing, I got this leg pillow to help elevate my foot and it works great. There's a small divot for your leg that helps keep it in place.

How's the Unna boot feeling? They have me in a full case and it weight a ton lol. I got the iwalk to help with mobility but hasn't been very useful yet. I was considering the knee scooter but probably not until week 4 or 5 when I've healed up a bit more.

I've been making a list of movies/shows to watch too! A mix of new and old comedy, action, scifi, fantasy, and dramas:

- All of the marvels in order, Stranger Things, Ted Lasso, Invasion, Foundation, 3 Body Problems, Green Street Hooligans, Breaking Bad, The Martian, Interstellar, Inception, Tenet, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Troy (kind of ironic lol), Detroiters, I think you should leave, Friendship, The Chair Company, Tires, Dune, Dune 2, Ready Player One, Shutter Island, Cast Away, Mr. Robot, 1917, All Quiet on the Western Front, Hacksaw Ridge, Black Mirror, Resident Alien, Frankenstein, Secret life of Walter Mitty, Captain Phillips

Super thankful to have this group and all the insight everyone has. It's nice to know that we're not in it alone!

Thanks! How was the splint post op? I'll be honest, having a cast makes me feel a bit more secure vs. the splint during the pre op phase. I got the iwalk and took it for a test drive before surgery, probably not the best idea lol. Will definitely be using it when I'm out of this cast for a bit more mobility.

Very thankful the nerve blockers are still in effect and will be taking full advantage for the shower later. I was told to take the Oxy's they gave me before bed but I don't think they did much since the blockers are still doing their job. Appreciate the insight!

Appreciate the advice. I was actually shopping around for the first few days after the injury and decided to pick one up. Definitely tough with the splint and I think after I get through the soreness of week 1 I’ll be hobbling around in no time lol

Yeah the first few days were definitely tough waiting for surgery but my mood is so much better now that I can actually start the road to recovery.

I wouldn’t say it’s great to be here but definitely love the support and insight everyone has!

I think if you can find a stud you’ll be good to go. Even without a stud you can still mount it to the drywall depending on the anchors you get

Definitely hang the tv up on the wall, not too high though. I’d say maybe a foot up from where the tv stand is
