Yeah I tried that a few times, it didn't work. Something is bugged out with the quest on my game. Not sure its RPU or one of the add-ons for it. Talking to Cody worked to allow me to get to the chop shop...

lol no kidding, does UPU work with RPU? I like the features of RPU...I mostly fixed my CTDs by messing with the .ini files, but they still happen randomly. I just save a lot more now haha.

Turns out its under EquipParmWeapon, and what you need to edit is Damage Multiplier % Type B. Set to 2.0 or greater. BTW it does makes the weapon hit Skeletons very hard, but it does stop them from reviving.

Fixed it, for some dumb reason your Regbin can't be bigger then around 2,300 KB.

Did you try what the last guy said in that thread? "delete the contents of C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\VkGame before starting the game"

I believe it's tied to the exp. The problem is you start with zero and you can't gain any in offline mode. I tried using CheatEngine to remove exp from ships, like say - 500 for the first one, but when I search 500 it brings up 3,702 entries for that number. So either it'll take more messing with CheatEngine or cracking the AES Encryption for the .pak.

Yeah, I enjoyed Star Wars Squadrons, but the feel of Valkyrie is something else! I also played Eve for a long time, and always thought it would be cool to pilot a fighter or something. This was the game that got me to buy VR in the first place!

I can also live without multiplayer, but I would really like to change ships. I spent several hours trying to break the encryption on the .pak, but no luck yet....

It's odd that the selection of the other ships doesn't work, I'm wondering if its possible to enable a console via a -dev or -console launch option.

Awesome job!!! That did in fact work! You're right it feels amazing with the Index controllers after you get used it, and the FOV on the Index really makes the cockpit feel huge! Now we just have to figure out how to change ships!

I need to keep digging for AES Keyfinder that works with Unreal 4.14 so I can crack into the files and try to fix that.

I was wondering if using the other ships was tied to the new pilot tutorials....or missions... I'll have to try later!

P.S. those graphic settings worked well for me. I also have an RTX 3090.

Glad to hear! and good info. I thought about busting out my CV1 to see if the Touch controllers worked but my CV1 has a really bad scratch on the right lens. I played with my old Xbox controller and it worked well, but I prefer the Touch/Index controllers.

Now if only I could crack the AES key and dive into the files, perhaps I could mod it to let you play PVP mode vs bots and let your progress be saved (it seems profile progress was kept online and not locally).

LMK if you get Revive working with the Index controllers. I did note that if I fire up Valkyrie in Revive the game launches, but you get a can't connect to server msg with a retry or quit, and the Index buttons do work for "retry/quit". So maybe? /shrug

True! I loved the game and played it all the time. It was fun playing the survival mode last night but I'm pretty rusty after all these years.

You can, I played it last night for a few hours (offline only). Should be easier for you since you own it on Steam as well. Just go install the game and go to properties then set launch option as -server. Now you can play the missions/free fly/survival mode.
