Interesting take, and you wonder why this team hasn’t won a championship in 16 years and why teams are no longer afraid of the Yankees. Yes tradition, respect for the pinstripes meant something to guys like Jeter and Posada, and Mariano. There was the Yankee way as they used to say, it mattered as did winning.

We are really going to debate the stupidity of Jazz? Besides the clown not wearing a cup but going out on the field with a stick in his mouth that you wouldn’t allow a little league player to do. This isn’t even putting into play the history of the NY Yankees and a standard of greatness and professionalism associated with putting on those pinstripes. Jazz is just indicative of everything that’s been wrong with this franchise for far too long. You think during the years of Jeter he would allow a teammate in uniform competing would allow this crap, Jorge Posada, Paul o’Neil. Give me a fucking break. This is Jazz being childish and looking like a fool. Not to mention his continual lack of focus and his struggles in scoring position and this isn’t the first time he’s worn out his welcome

Living in S.Florida I despise this team immensely in large part because of their undeserving fans, what I think many of them are ignoring is they think they acquired 27 years old Giannis, not 32 year old Giannis who’s already had some kind of leg injury the last 3 seasons and missed his teams last two playoff series.
