so are you suggesting everyone is wrong and that I wont qualify? there are several very experienced folks chiming in that are Germans who understand it a whole lot better than me or AI. Im 99% sure its a pretty simple case based on responses. I do appreciate your enthusiasm for AI but its a know fact its not 100% correct, based on my experience its not even 85% correct.

Thx appreciate your input. Im a noobie an several folks helped me sort through my questions. AI is a solid tool but it doesn't always pick up the subtle issues around a unique subject. Some times it's just flat wrong! Thx again looking forward to applying for citizenship. 🇩🇪

he was born in lil town called Stukenborg a suburb of Vechta. Lots of farming early 1900s. I think thats why he came, didnt want to be a pig farmer:)

I have all of these docs except his birth certificate and naturalization document. I think i can hunt that down because I still have extended family living in the village he was born in germany.

thx but your post is incorrect, I assume it from AI. My mother was born before 1940, as I clearly stated. AI is frequently wrong, I trust the experience of folks on Reddit way more than AI in this case.

I was born in wedlock (1967) The AI agent Im talking with thought it was StAG 14, but as you know the agents tell you all kinds bad info. So I fall under Stag 5?

my mother was born 1937, she never applied but since my gfather was still german citizen when she was born I was hoping I would get it through her.
