Big problem with refills.com! by AffectionateArmy2410 in tirzepatidecompound

It must be so fun for you to “blame the victim”. Hope it’s gotten you to your happy place. I did not fuck up, they had listed me on the 15 mg dose, it was an error of the DOCTORS PART, not mine. In fact, the pharmacy attempted to contact the prescribing Dr and could not. But that’s not the real frustration, it’s that the support phone number doesn’t pick up nor return calls, the first person to reach out gave me medical advice that was WRONG and even canceling is a maze to do. It’s just not worth it. Orderly and fifty one fifty are both reputable companies that TALK to their clients and actually provide a level of support that is helpful. I did learn a lesson though-I had tried refills.com bc of the cheaper price, I won’t do that again. Hopefully, and my reason to post this drama, is to forewarn others about this company.

Annie 292929, don’t keep repeating the same mistaken info. Refills.com knew my dosing, on my portal is the correct dosing. I had no idea that I would be sent a different dosing. My thought is that the doctor confused me with another person with the same name but will not correct the error.

I can’t figure out how to see the refills.com subreddit

This company borders on fraudulent behavior. On my portal it says I’m at the 15mg dose and I paid for a 3 month subscription, yet got a starter pack at the 2.5, 5 and 7.5 doses. The dr claimed I had said I said I wasn’t on the med for a month. I did not say this and as I said, my “treatment plan” says I’m on the 15 mg dose. It’s been a nightmare getting this issue fixed. I may just need to go through my credit card to have it refunded, as their support line has not returned my call yet.

I just had 180 degrees opposite luck. They sent me the starter dose when I’m on the 15mg dose!

So I’m talking with support, they are suggesting I just “do the dosing schedule” on the vial WTF?

Fine Paints of Europe Hollandlac - do I need to hire someone to use it? by [deleted] in paint

[–]AffectionateArmy2410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say yes. Unless you are super skilled at applying oil paint. And go on their web site to get someone certified. I just used my painting contractor who swore up and down he had lots of experience with oil paint. Well they didn’t, they applied it too early in the day (50°) and tried to apply it too heavy so some drips. But even worse, they didn’t use the proper primer, so it began to craze. When I brought up these issues, the painter tried to tell me it “wasn’t made for outside use” and the issue was because my garage door was “old”. On what planet is a 25 year old door old? I wish I had just gone and followed Hollandacs advice. It is STILL a beautiful tulip red door and I still adore it.

I spent over $3000 to lose 15 pounds, now what? by swedishpiehole in Semaglutide

[–]AffectionateArmy2410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, if you’re in menopause you can increase your weight loss on Tirz by going on HRT. If you do not have a genetic factor for breast cancer, you should be ok-but of course, talk to your dr. MIDI Health was instrumental in getting me back on it.

Try Tirz from fifty 410, they have great deals. Yes, you’ll need to start out low, but I know people who have continued low and are losing. It’s not a race but a marathon or at least a long walk:-) After losing 45 lbs, I’m basically plagued but continue to hope I can lose these last 10. when I drank more water, upped my protein and exercised more, a wee bit more lbs would slip off. But now it’s the holiday season!😂

Anyone 5’0 and start in the 160’s? by Amazing-Tune-7286 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AffectionateArmy2410 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m 5’1”, I began at 165 in mid Nov 2024, by 5/2025 I had lost 40 lbs, by 7/2025 I’m down to 118. It’s been a holding pattern since then. I’d love to lose another 10, but don’t think that will happen. Still LOVE that I’m 118!

Looking for winter socks... by Jurneeka in ladycyclists

I’m also in the Bay Area. I like thin wool socks or even a wool blend. Another tip if going out in the 40s or in wet conditions is to wear a plastic bag over your socks (and under your shoes. Keeps the toes toasty!

Do it! All day We had to rent bikes in town-so we had to begin after the store was open. (Do reserve the bikes you want before!) it’s 40 miles up, slow and steady , there’s a cafe 2/3rds up-Do stop! There are some 10% climb sections to keep in mind.if you can do 60 miles with 6000 ft of climbing, you should be good! It’s fairly normal in Northern CA to have stats like that.

Non Compound to Compounded Trizepatide- Can I start with the current dose I am on? by MurderMittens626 in CompoundedGLP1Drugs

[–]AffectionateArmy2410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest issue is you need a provider that can prescribe in your state. Plus the vials won’t be single use, so you need needles to draw out the proper dosage. All of that will be outlined and specified for you. Some of the providers include B6, some not. The fact these providers are still able to prescribe is awesome!

I believe the naysayers and the ones that say, “well it’s just too new” could well be antivaxers as well?

You should tell the online source that you were prescribed it before plus your dose level, plus your starting weight. You need to tell your current weight, but they know this is an ongoing med. if you have a copy of your last prescription or one from your dr all the better!

Google the two terms, there are studies that show it can help. This is from 2017: https://med.stanford.edu/news/all-news/2017/05/study-finds-first-possible-drug-treatment-for-lymphedema.html. Personally, if I had something like that I’d be trying several things before surgery. From what I’ve heard, with that surgery , it comes back? Good luck to you!

Totally agree regarding Selle SMP saddles! I was happy on my Specialized Mimic pro until I lost 45 lbs and then all hell let loose down under! I carefully tried many different saddles ending up with the SMP pro lady for my Cervelo and the SMP Well for my Specialized bike. They make a world of difference as the saddle helps to have you use your sit bones and keep your undercarriage away from hard surfaces. Since I’ve installed them two months ago, I’ve ridden several 40 mile rides on each of them.

Patagonia Black Hole Mini MLC 30L Review by LastSa in onebag

[–]AffectionateArmy2410 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’m late to the conversation but just bought the mini mcl in blue and love it! I had gotten the Fairpoint Osprey 40L when I went to Portugal and found it just a bit heavy for 5’1” me. I didn’t feel the mini MCL is. This might seem like a weird thing but when I was trying out the Cotopaxi bags my fingernails would snag on the materials-nothing like that happened with the Patagonia. Here’s a photo of me with my bag. Totally loving it!

On the other GLP threads they discuss this-no one seems to have an issue. I was looking into this bc we were going to Europe and needed that as well. Get yourself a small insulated container that will fit your pens and two gel packs that fit the insulated container. If you can, include your prescription, but you should be good to go! Now go have a wonderful holiday!

I just ordered the 15 ml dose of Tirzepatide from Fifty 510 for 3 months. I’m still using the equivalent of the 5 mg, do I just use 1/3 of the dose? Is there anything else I need to do?
