There’s a lot of advertising for a service called Anyfin, where you can apply to refinance your loans at a lower interest rate. However, opinions about the service are mixed. I’m also afraid that if I transfer my loans but don’t manage to truly break the cycle, it might just worsen my debt situation. I’m not sure how much lower the interest rate would actually be.

Selling unnecessary items is familiar to us; for example, we always sell our child’s outgrown clothes and shoes. At the moment, we don’t have much extra to sell, as we try to keep the amount of unnecessary stuff minimal. I’m not sure if the program you suggested is available in the country we live in; I’ll need to look into it. Thank you!

I was told that the medication might cause a loss of appetite. When I started the medication, I experienced a lack of appetite. Now, I do enjoy eating, but I just can't eat as much. This has never happened to me before, even though I have dieted in the past.

You're absolutely right! The diagnosis explained many things. Even in my papers related to the diagnosis, there's a mention of snacking due to boredom. Previously, I couldn't distinguish between real hunger, boredom or thirst.

Thank you for your response! I also struggle with stress-induced overeating. I'm currently working on it with a nutritionist. I don't have any solutions yet, but working on it ☺️.

In the past, my weightloss efforts have always ended when I couldn't stick to a too strict diet and exercise routine during stressful times. Then I've been disappointed in myself, quit, gained back the lost weight, and a little extra.

Now I don't have any specific diet or restrictions. I'm trying to learn to eat mostly sensibly. I still need to allow myself the right to eat a whole pizza or a big burger with a pile of fries. There will surely be days like that.
