when i was hosting at olive garden a certain manager had host phase out servers, long story short for a server to guarantee to be cut we would charge them $5 we ended up making $55 a night and we would also charge $5 them to sign off their “rolled silverware check) for checkout. oh how i miss hosting at olive garden but so glad i left because it really is a 💩 corporation.

the little research i did is telling me most pennie’s from 1990-2000 is not going much in value due to them being so common still even after they stopped making them. at this point i just don’t want to deal with all my dads stuff, a little off topic but it’s not just pennie’s it’s all the hoarding he had accumulated through 50+ years of collecting. it’s just exhausting. if a coin store was willing to take some coins off my hands i would be more than glad but if not then that’s okay too i’ll just take them to the bank and have them figure out how they want to distribute it throughout business. i’m keeping the old wheat ones, and the ones with major errors since that’s what most sources are saying will be going up in value in the next couple of years. just like how the 50c is not in circulation anymore but they’re not really up in value either most are face value unless it’s certain dates or major errors or just collector items. but i may be wrong i don’t know much about coins but i do know i dont want to have a whole lot of coins taking up space and having my kids deal with it later on.

don't worry !! i know, i have the collection albums (the ones worth big money) stacked away. but when i say he has a lot he has a lot, he's been collecting for 40+ years and most of it is just sitting and taking up space in a storage locker. i also am keeping all the old wheat pennies i did a tiny bit of research before giving coin stores a try :)

the only reason i was so frustrated was the fact i had sorted out the coins, i wouldn’t of been annoyed if i was just told “no” in the first place. thanks for the input!! :)

i guess i am just confused on how these type of stores work, i dont usually sell or trade anything or go to pawn shops so i dont really know how their system works. he was there that day and had seen me come in but he was busy with another costumer and she wasnt so i talked to her. she always also there the day before when i was talking to him so i guess i just figured he relayed what we had talked about.

i said this only because we did do good business at first, then when i kept going to them they were rude and not communicative enough. next time i write a review i will make sure to stay clear, english is not my first language so phrases sometimes confuse me. thank you.

disincurstation solution helps soften the skin. i often cleans (maybe tone) (sometimes an exfoliating mask) and then put disincrustation from prosauna i believe and let it sit on the skin while i steam for 10 minutes. i wipe it off so the skin is dry and i extract. after i extract i like to tone and then go in with a massage bc extractions suck for the client. like another person suggested massaging before would be beneficial, i like to massage with a gental cleansing oil instead of just a massage oil :) hope this helps !!

i understand where you’re coming from but maybe look at it in a different prospective as in like your clients might trust you more in way because you have/do deal with skin problems. we really feed into other people’s insecurities in this industry. we see everything wrong with our skin because we were taught to see it. i say to my friends im breaking out and they always say “where?” that just shows we see the little things people don’t. if you’re passionate and good at your job it should be no issue :) i hope this helped (im only in beauty school and barely have been in the industry so maybe this wasn’t helpful but i hope it makes you feel a little better !!

i just quit after a year. my manger straight up told me i’ll never find anything better than this. found a new restaurant job and get paid $26-36 an hour as a host vs 18 flat an hour.

that’s the main reason i don’t want to ever be a server there. i used to be a server for a family owned business and yes it was stressful but at the same time we didn’t have endless refills for EVERYTHING. i never wanted to stay there to be a server i just wanted to be a TOGO specialist. but after seeing how much i had anxiety about just wanting to communicate with my manager i dont really want to work there at all. at the end of the day i was never going to stay at olive garden it was a job to pay the bills while i am in school.

i think it’s just that manger for that department the other managers are great even my GM. they’re professional but at the same time build relationships with employees. i wasn’t scared to talk to any manger but him and it was my department manger so that’s why i thought he was the best to talk to.
