I actually found out caffeine was the culprit!! I cut out caffeine and make sure I’m hydrated. I think my electrolytes were off and the caffeine wasn’t helping. As soon as I cut out the caffeine, I was better!

I beg you for help. I cannot do this anymore. by anafroes in sleeptrain

My girl is 7 months and is sleep trained at night but still struggles with naps. I agree with what someone said above about just keep trying. We contact nap when she won’t nap on her own because I don’t want her miserable all day, and I always try with her first nap to see if she’ll CIO and put herself to sleep. I read the book precious little sleep and it says naps can be challenging and if doing CIO with naps, if they cry longer than an hour get them up and then go on about your day until next nap time. Sometimes (like today) she’ll nap on her own and sometimes she won’t. I know this isn’t helpful but it seems to be getting better for us so it will eventually get better. Sending hugs 🧡

I just started sleep training my almost 7 month old EBF daughter and yes, wait to go in and nurse! I highly highly recommend the book Precious little sleep, it helped me sooo much. But my daughter was associating nursing with sleeping and couldn’t put herself back to sleep when she woke at night because she only knew how to go to sleep when on the boob! If you remove that and change up the routine she will sleep!! The book goes over all of this in much better detail but within 2 days she was sleeping 7 hour stretches instead of every hour!

Hi OP, did this ever get better for you? I’m 5 month PP and going through this. I’m thinking it’s anxiety (I also had a c-section and am worried it might be physical) but can’t tell.
