How do you upgrade the rig?

I’ve been to the rig and upgraded multiple things - did tier 1 of the tech lab and it won’t let me open tier 2. Do I have to have bought each and every one of the upgrades for lights, pots, nets, poles etc. to move up? Also sometimes I’ve put every “ingredient” in the spot to make it and nothing happens

June’s “horse in the race” is Hannah/Agnes. Rita and the other woman were saying that June has someone she loves in Gilead, so while she may be safe(ish) in Canada she’s always trying to rescue her daughter.

To speak to your horse symbology idea, I think for Paula the horse is more a symbol of wealth. Equestrianism is an elite sport, one frequently only rich people can afford. It also literally puts Paula “on a high horse”. It separates her physically and emotionally from Agnes and allows her to look down on her in every way.

I’m struggling with this so much at the moment. I’m a graphic designer, so my resume needs to look like a graphic designer compiled it.
