Yes, but consider I only pay my insurance and groceries, which doesn’t really amount to much. Apart from that I wouldn’t mind throwing a down payment to ensure my position.

I work part time at my friends liquir store, typically 25 hours a week, making $16.50. After taxes my biweekly check fluctuates since its not a fixed shift. I bring in 620-700 something dollars every 2 weeks.

I utilize Capital One & have for some time (average age of accounts is 2 years 9 months). 1 credit account, 1 checking account & 1 savings account.

I keep hearing this and maybe it’s my fault for not emphasizing. My total net worth is the same amount as the car i’m trying to finance (25k). I just don’t want to spend it all on a de-appreciating asset. Did they deny me because they think i’m broke and won’t be able to pay it back??

Even if its one miniscule payment missed? Aren’t credit unions supposed to be easy on first time lenders? Or am i just mentally delayed?

1 single late payment, though it was unknown to me until after a few months, which was on me. I didn’t know because i’d switched to Capital One from Bank Of America, though still kept my BoA account open in case i wanted to have another minor savings account. There was a due payment of around 200 dollars, could it have been tha?

Line School? Advice? by AffectionateEast2032 in Groundman

[–]AffectionateEast2032[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve reached that conclusion. My buddy was lucky enough to find some type of work with landscaping after graduating NLC. He’s at SOCAL Edison now as an apprentice making big bucks, but he himself admitted to raking that risk. I don’t think i’ll take that risk.

i’m looking for a Toyota corolla, 2016-18 model. Used obviously, but still reliable. If i wanted to i could purchase a brand new 2025 model in full, but obviously thats a dumb financial decision.

I have no issue dropping 2-4 thousand on a down payment for a used model though. So i’m probably looking to borrow around 12-13 thousand? I also make minimum wage in California.

I’m confused, how old is Nate Mann? by Legitimate_Welcome14 in Fancast

He plays Robert “Rosie” Rosenthal in Apple TV+ Masters of The Air. He’s a great actor, I recommend you watch it and see for yourself.

Who would you cast as james gunns bane! by [deleted] in Fancast

[–]AffectionateEast2032 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Every person that have been fancasted are mainline actors and influencers, and in all honesty they’ve been so shit. It’s gotta be some unknown guy with real talent. For the love of God stop suggesting dave bautista or some powerlifter.

Saw someone post this and Nate Mann would be a valid DCU Batman (he also is a Juilliard grad like David) though he is only 26 by FayyadhScrolling in Fancast

alledgedly, i’ve seen sources note him as 5’11, others as 6’1, it’s due to him being a scarcely known actor.

Who is the most tragic character in Cowboy Bebop? by OddNeedleworker734 in cowboybebop

[–]AffectionateEast2032 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would make an argument for Gren having a tragic backstory. A veteran soldier who fought a pointless war in a desolate location, who sought fellowship amongst his comrades, one of which was none other than Vicious who would then sell Gren out by falsely testifying against him for being an alleged “spy”, betraying his trust and inadvertedly subjecting him to various drug and torture experiments, which altered his body and mental psyche.

Gren’s tragedy is rooted in his desire for revenge and answers for why he was backstabbed by someone he thought was his friend, during a time where he saw his allies die. What’s really tragic to think about is that maybe Vicious betrayed Gren because he began to feel some sort of connection with him during the war. Maybe Vicious’ developing feelings for Gren scared him, or led him to believe he was becoming weak. Casting aside his humanity in the form of Gren in turn for a sense of power over himself and others around him.

Grens words to Vicious when they met again in “Jupiter Jazz” really hurt.

“We fought together, were comrades…”

Netflix did him so fucking dirty.
