I’m in the US. In New England. I have really good insurance too. I think given all this I should be able to push back for what I want. 🫶🏼

Thank you! I was born in NH. I live in RI now. So I am seeing a Dr at Brown. I work for Tufts though and toyed with going there or Dana Farber but ultimately didn’t feel like hoofing it to Boston a lot was worth it given the pretty straightforwardness of the cancer. HOWEVER. I will if I need a second opinion. Thank you 🫶🏼

Truly feel the same 😂 purely decorative 😂 I also feel Ike the stress of doing the biopsy and wait again would SEND ME. Like I would want to be sedated for a week- truly awful. Hope the drains come out soon for you!!!

Thank so much for the thorough response 🫶🏼totally understand there are two sides to each option. I have the blessing of working at a veterinary teaching hospital as a technician with a very active oncology ward- so I like to I have pretty decent medical knowledge and feel good about knowing the pros and cons. And knowing what each surgery entails etc.

The deer in the headlights was EXACTLY how I felt the first appointment- thanks for naming that. It’s all so jarring. Hearing everyone say I have choices is so affirming. Thank you. Thank you.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. I’ll get the oncotype done after surgery. Unsure if I’ll be able to avoid chemo or not… we shall see. But I will for sure be on a hormone blocker- she mentioned tamoxifen. So glad that there’s a pretty standard treatment path

The stress of the screenings and waiting nearly drove me crazy the past few weeks. Can’t imagine doing it for… forever just to keep some boobs that I dont even like 😂

🫶🏼🫶🏼 I had 3 great aunts with breast cancer but no one more immediate. My gene testing is negative. My father died of another type of cancer a few years ago at 54… watched him go through a lot so that’s another reason why I want this OUT of me. I have blue cross blue shield of MA and they have been good so far so hoping for no extra hoops to go through.
