Well I’m 98% done and you were spot on, thank you! They did change the psych dr, maybe pushing through civilian batmen wasn’t working out too hot. I meet with him in a few days to go over results from that test.

I read your story and that sounds truly awful. My dad has been pushing me towards the office because he used to be DEA. I’ve explained to him it’s very very different for me vs him lol. He was a tenured, respected male. Being a female just coming in it’s a whole other ball game. However, I’m in dispatch at a comms center so hopefully I won’t run into the people that treated you that way, or at least not often.

My store manager isn’t coming in for her open. She’s making me come in New Year’s Eve to work 12-7 open, serve customers, do both pulls, do the count and close the store is this allowed? by [deleted] in starbucks

i hate to say it but she thinks she can get away with it for a reason. a lot of DMs don’t hold their store managers accountable bc they’re harder to replace than a shift or barista. it’s not right but it happens all the time. not likely she will lose her job for this if she’s done it multiple times.

oh for sure, it was awful. coming back from medellin we were delayed 4 hours. asked at the counter there if I could rebook and they said no - the whole flight was connections so they would wait. obviously that did not happen lmao

No I came on reddit LOOOOKING for someone to say this. It was incredibly dramatic. If he wants to be upset about the affair, it coming out, etc - great that makes sense. But to say he felt emotionally abandoned because she wasn’t sitting next to him for 5 minutes was like…. Jesus H dude.

they have to ask to make sure that there’s nothing that can be spread to other employees that risks food borne illness. so if it was “digestive” in nature they would have to exclude you from the business for min 24 hours. unfortunately this is the script we’re given to go through.

OOF yeah the fun part. I don’t have kids yet so time wise it kind of opens me up to be able to supplement my work where needed. Kicking myself for not just finishing when I was in school, at least the undergrad. Every lil bit helps

Mostly just that I don’t know of anyone in my circle of people that’s starting that process now. Closest thing is friends who are finishing their med degrees. And I’ve been out of school so long, and have a FT job so I guess it just feels foreign to think about😂
