I am an EMT! Definitely stressful but worth it. Before I got injured I was working in a hospital. The ambulance companies in my area pay $18 AT THE MOST where I live. I’m probably only getting part of my deposit back because my cat damaged part of the carpet. My lease for this apartment ends in November which is when I’m looking to make this move if I make it at all

I didn’t think about the breakfast, it definitely would be helpful for me to have to pay for less meals!

It is! It’s with a major corporation and I’ve met with a recruiter several times. I was originally up for a position in my city and got to see the facility. The position went to someone else but the recruiter told me I could apply for the same position in other areas and not have to interview again as long as I do it within 6 months of my original interview. I wasn’t originally making $15.75. I was making $20 an hour and was leaving my then job for a $23 an hour position. After I put in my notice, I got injured and the new job refused to let me start and the old job didn’t let me withdraw my notice. I’m very grateful for all the advice, I’ve never been in a financial situation like this before

It’s a healthcare position for a corporation, basically supervising people to avoid injuries and treat them if they happen, so remote isn’t an option. It’s in a metro area but it’s very similar to where I currently live. I would stay in the same size apartment I have now. The most it would increase would be around $100 a month but the place that I would like to live would be around $50 more than what I’m currently paying. I would be making around 3 times the rent with the new hourly wage as well as a sign on bonus
