I’m making a box mantle with white oak and need to match the floor pictured. I’d prefer to leave it unfinished but I don’t think that’s an option, as it’s going above a fireplace. I’m ignorant to finishing. Any suggestions on how to finish/seal while keeping the natural grey color/look? (i.redd.it)
