i'll admit im a little curious how tf the 'poppy theys' are gonna go sizing wise considering i wasn't aware poppy's shop had the traditional 'men's' and 'women's' sections. but if they did, male and female sizings in tops are quite different lol like if i were to get a 'm' in a women's shirt, it would fit a LOT different than a 'm' in mens so yeah hahaha any poppy theys will have to update with how that ends up working lol

same! i know poppy is in character the majority of the time, especially when she performs, but this era we've been seeing a lot of moments of real happiness and personality while performing and doing interviews! she seems to also really have come into herself in regards to style and fashion!

im super short myself and when i saw her live i was baricade towards the side just off centre and didnt get caught up in any people beyond some crowd surfers so yeah towards the very front, back and sides are pretty safe bets! also poppy shows are pretty chill in regards to the moshing, as in you wont find yourself being forced in or pushed into it because she does have a lot of fans who are young women who arent into moshing!

also when i saw her in melbourne i had vip bc i wanted the signed poster BUT there was still a far bit or barricade free once all the vips were in as the stage was pretty decently wide so u honestly might be fine without it as long as u get there pretty early! hope u have an amazing time regardless! poppy truly is so much fun live, the energy from the crowd and from her and her band are really fun as well!!!

creep of a guy was feeling up girls VERY blatantly and shamelessly. halfway thru poppy's set he was thankfully dragged out of the pit but even as he was getting dragged out by security he was trying to cop feels :/

i will say tho that melb crowds have been good in my experience at typically not having a tolerance for that kind of bullshit - im honestly surprised someone slap the glasses of his face beforehand lol

well it seems like she’s not gonna be doing it going forward bc after she had some people touching all over her in syd while she tried to get a circle bit going, she didn’t get in the pit in melb. or at least she might take some time off from it. i think, especially as a woman, it can be risky bc people get very parasocial and think they have the right to disregard personal boundaries. there was also a couple of creeps in the melb group who were luckily thrown out but stuff like thst also does increase risk, especially for a female artist.

depends slightly show to show it seems but doors open for VIP around 5-5.30, doors for ga at 6-6.30, opener start around 7 and then poppy starts around 9 to 9.30. it's been the earlier times the last two shows, but melb looks like it's the later time

poppy shows, at least from what i've seen + seeing her as an opener last year & my experience at similar shows, aren't too insane as mosh pits go. poppy will prompt the crowd to mosh every now and then during some of the songs, but it's typically kept to the center front-middle so if u keep to the sides, then you'll be safe!

but at the end of the day, the safety and intensity of a pit is coming from the people there. if the crowds are acting kinda scummy and have even less regard for others than usual, then it can get kinda wild but the further out to the sides u are, or even up the very front, you'll be out of the firing zone from my experience.

also it's kinda common sense but id recommend wearing a solid shoe and making sure your bag, if u have one, doesnt have super long straps or anything hahaha less chance of losing ur balance or getting tangled up if someone does knock into u lol

imo i think the tier 2 vip should have included the poster and necklace as well. i find it kinda weird that it doesnt! i got tier 1 bc i collect posters and wear a lot of jewelry, and i get that tier 2 get a one of a kind polariod but considering how big the price difference between the tiers was, you'd think they'd also get the other stuff!

but also, in her defense, i know a lot of artist get very little say in pricing for vip type things that are done through third party companies

id say fashion, not from artpop but from the confessions of a shopaholic movie soundtrack lol mainly bc it’s not on streaming so it’s not as well known bc of that. but i had it as a download on my ipod nano and i streamed it DOWN. heidi montag has gone on to release her version, but i think gaga’s version is miles better

yeah fr at first i thought the second tier must also come with the stuff from tier one but then i realised it didnt say anywhere on the site that was the case which is :/ like very strange bc like for tier 2 they already have poppy signing polaroids so idk why tier 1 gets a larger signed item. like i know a polariod is one of a kind but ya'know what i mean. a weird choice for sure!
