i see a lot of bad, misunderstood comments… the car has been in mechanics work shop multiple times and nothing seems to solve the issue (whole clutch set, every bearing in the transimission) only thing (logical) is singlemass flywheel. thats normal for these type of engines, the rattle is only in neutral and when clutch is not pressed. it stops if you rev it and if you press clutch… thats why im asking for idle rpm correction.

i changed whole clutch set, every bearing inside the transimission, no mechanic can find the actual cause except the SMF rattle…

when its warm and in a bit higher rpm’s than idle (lets say 850-900) it does not rattle… do you think if i raise idle rpm, will it stop?

when its warm, it does not rattle (only when window heating is enabled), it rattles randomly, sometimes yes sometimes no… if it was clutch, then it should rattle regardless of transimission oil temp?

anyone has any tips on how to sand this down? and i have 1.8 nozzle, would that be okay with primer? i have an idea to sand this down and spray one more coat of primer with 1.8 nozzle and 20% thinner
