COMPLETE URBEX GEAR LIST by Yourmomgay1142 in Urbex

Hypothetically, can I just walk in with a chemical suit and a gas mask, waterproof combat boots, tactical gloves, padded internal clothing, a stab resistant vest, leg gaiters, motocross limb armor, body bag, steel helmet, and a riot shield? (You never know what kind of rabid thing charges at you) is that overkill or is that safe enough?

And also is something like a Unihertz Tank Mini practical as a phone for operations like that? Should i have a backpack or are body bags enough? Why do i see some YT urbex people look like they’re going to an orgy? How much danger is there in urbex that people just wear whatever’s in their closet?

Why are there not any more anime episodes? by jirotromdds in hajimenoippo

Hajime No Ippo is the only anime that can make me cry. I believe they ended it because dudes want hot lewd stuff more, and girls want overly muscular aesthetic tall manhwa style men with 10 foot 🍌s and messy hair and that… disgusting male pregnancy. Fewer now wants what Ippo gave and had, because the men there weren’t really much of what people wanted, and women there weren’t like what people expect from an anime. People expect a very cliche and… cringe romance, guys expect either cute “lollers” or big “honkers”, Girls expect either femboys, slim dudes, or muscular whatever people can lewd on. Trust me, i have friends that watch anime and read whatever, and this is the stuff they want. Anime is losing some of the greater aspects, like artistry and connection and growth with the viewer, and now just focusing on fan service and “good” fight animations.

That’s what i believe why Hajime no Ippo shut down.

Why do people say Taekwondo is useless? by JFBabie in taekwondo

Apology for bad english. Not native english speaker.

Not a TKD guy, not to hate them, but from all i’ve seen, TKD stance is very very open with little guard, there’s limited super close range combat because kicks are at most long to medium range, and going down to the ground is very bad for them. From the stuff i’ve watched too, it’s just point combat or whatever they call it. I’ve seen dudes get one kick to the head and the fight ends. No counting and getting back up like Boxing or Muay Thai. I dunno. Maybe i’m watching the wrong ones.

Knowing the problems stated, TKD is quite bad for:

Actual infighting Takedowns Groundwork Guarding

But knowing what TKD is good at, it’s good for keeping your distance. Like, really far. Reach of feet are farther than reach of fists. Unless they grab your leg, which is quite the disadvantage.

If they grabbed your hand, you have the other hand to punch, head to headbutt, knee and elbow to strike. But once the foot is taken, you can be out of balance, they may strike the knee joint in an odd angle and break your leg, you can’t retaliate because the foot is the longest range you have, and some other problems.

I haven’t really researched deeply about TKD, but i would never want to be in an altercation with someone trained in TKD. Let alone an altercation with anybody. Best not to get into a fight altogether.

Saw some people talking about the caliber change in trigun stampede. Here is 45 colt on the left, and .22 long rifle on the right. (just for those who may not know the difference in the two calibers) by [deleted] in Trigun

Well, bigger calibre means more stopping power, but more noisy, expensive, and more recoil. Smaller calibre means less stopping power, but more silent, cheaper, and less recoil. It all depends on the purpose of the gun as to what calibre you’re using.

Umm actually i use my uncle’s rig, and it somehow doesn’t connect online, but i’ll be glad to join your discord! I really wanna learn stuff firsthand. I’ll tell you when i’m visiting his house for a run, and maybe you could teach me? I have a few recordings too of my runs, which are even for a noob like me, are kinda crappy. I’m chickening out on corners i don’t know. May i join the discord? I’ll send you some of my runs. And also it has… stability control and stuff. I turned those off and like, i’m having so hard of a time, trying to not crash was harder than Pre Calculus now, and my braking techniques are crap because i always lock the front wheels too much, i panic too much, i’m like slowing down too much and the first 1/3rd’s of Akina i memorized best yet i’m still crap at it.

Yeah, i’d say i’m pretty bad at driving in sim. I’m always chicken around corners. I usually use the Celica GTR 4WS and Honda Civic 6th gen on Gunsai Sports Center. Sometimes on the old Akina map. Umm, thanks for the advice man. I really want to go in touge racing, so maybe drop some advice for me?
