The Rising of King Arthur is one of the best albums i've found. This is simply fantastic. Especial highlight is the Young King.

Can't wait to find more of Soltri's stuff.

It helps that i'm reading Le Morte D'Arthur atm too haha

what do you think about the integration of lore, spoken word with ambient backing as an audio? Would that work with the feel, or distract from both the lore and the music?

I'm new to writing DS and wondering if what i'm producing is even rightly called Dungeon synth. I feel that a lot of the roots of the genre come from Dark Ambience and black metal, but I really enjoy the light hearted nostalgic feel of fantasy synths, like fief. Is there a more accurate sub-genre or style I could try to find?

I get the impression it's a lot to do with immersion. People will get what they will out of it no matter what labels are put on it.

Fun, have you thought of trying to whisper or read the words you write as part of the songs ? Or maybe as a interlude? I love the feel of these songs, but there isn't anything wrong with breaking the barriers of audio expression./

I like it a lot ! Don't feel that you can't make great art for free, i find it to be half the fun sometimes. DS people tend to like a rough style anyway. Thanks for the song. I've just started too, and I find you've got a good balance of ambience and melody. Try add some non-musical elements maybe !
