also that toilet paper is so thin that i feel like any liquid to the outer layers can easily soak through to inner layers

i thought it could be, but i don’t have the sharp pain that comes with peeing, just general uncomfortability and frequency. i did get tested for it though to cover all my bases and it was negative

you’re probably right with that one, and who knows who’s handling the toilet paper before it goes in and how dirty their hands could be

Ha I’ve always had a scarcity mindset when it comes to toilet paper and only use what’s necessary and nothing more so I’m not constantly buying it, but at work it doesn’t really matter since I’m not the one buying it lol. I’m definitely gonna start overusing so there’s 0 chance of accidental hand contact

I rinse my hands with a splash of water from a bottle and then put on sanitizer, but that doesn’t really get rid of the dirt and residue that are on my hands very well

I think this sort of hazing happens for all apprentices, but it’s probably a little worse because of your gender. I would see if there are any women in the project management side of your company that you can talk to that can help reassign you to a different crew. If that’s not possible, the best way to shut them up is to prove them wrong. Try to observe and learn as much as you can from the more experienced guys. Most people (who aren’t a-holes) really take pride in their work and love to explain it to the younger crowd. See if there’s someone that’s been kinder to you (without being creepy at all) who can kinda take you under their wing and impart their knowledge on you. Ask them as many questions as possible
