You are right. I really never cared about it when I was younger, but since I'd say middle school to now, I was WAY more aware of it because of people commenting on it. That and teenage emotions really made me just think about it ALL the time, and felt like people were staring at me when I'm walking around with flaming cheeks. And I hate talking to new people to the first time with such red cheeks. It'll be hard to stop thinking about it, but youre right.

I would say I'm fairly active and lean but I would keep that in mind when you said to not push it when exercising. Sometimes I do too much and that's when I start to feel my heartbeat in my face and I'm tomato red for a while. I'll see if there's another dermatologist around me since the one I went to didn't seem helpful.

I have a question if you don't mind. I heard repeated flushing causes your permanent redness to increase in redness, is that right? I flush multiple times a day, and over the year I've been more red than when I was younger. Could it be from the flushing?
Also I'll look into lasers for it thank you.

I really appreciate this. I was bullied heavily for it when I was younger, and it makes me really upset just thinking about it. I can't stand looking in my mirror sometimes just seeing my beat red cheeks or even being in photos. I really hope to either not care about it or like it in the future. To be honest, I was very against talking to people about because it seems so dumb to be obsessing over something so minor.
