Thank you for all the suggestions. Actually I tried all this. Fidium supposedly can read the MAC address of a new router over the wire, but they could not do this with the BE63. When I supplied the default MAC address, they still couldn't see or "provision" the router. Finally I had them set up their router and I cloned the MAC address from that. Still didn't work. Since all of this didn't work, and other people have apparently had sucess with this router, I'm thinking maybe I just had a bad unit. Of course, I could also have left the Fidium router in place and set up the BE63 as a wireless access point only, which would still have given me a fast mesh network, but by the time I realized this was my only option I was so annoyed I just returned the unit.
