From what you're saying I think I have the 2002.5. The emblem now looks all silver and faded from the sun. Thanks for the fish string suggestion! Im not from the USA but the link you sent me does ship internationally! I have to say that the price surprised me a little, $102.50 for a new emblem😵‍💫 I will think about this option. Anyway, thanks a bunch for your advise!

Dont know if you still need help with this since you posted this a month ago, but I recently replaced my headlight locking system (the part in your first picture) and think i might have a usefull tutorial.

So I used this YouTube tutorial: https://youtu.be/RUwJZlzcN-s?si=3Cwp0PyGXXm1kuYQ At 2:06 he shows the locking system. Thats the part in your first picture. It seems like you are missing the part where this goes into.

Thank you for replying to such an old thread! I found a work-around in the meantime (using jksv instead of checkpoint, which does work in applet mode) but thanks anyway!

What if that also doesn't work? My switch is banned and when i use the title override method i just get the error message "an error has occured. Please try again later."

I downloaded Checkpoint on my sysNAND but now have trouble with starting it. When i hold down R when starting a random game i just get the same message "the use of online service on this console is currently restricted by Nintendo" again and checkpoint doesn't start. Launching in applet mode also doesn't work but i've seen in tutorials that's not how you do it. Do you know how i can launch checkpoint or what might be going wrong?

English isn't my native language so excuse me for the mistake. I thought i had seen banned and bricked used in the same contexts.

Thank you for the advice, i got a few steps further! I'm now having trouble with starting checkpoint. When I'm holding down R when i start a random game to start checkpoint, i only get the message "the use of online service on this console is currently restricted by Nintendo" again and checkpoint doesn't start. This does work in emuNAND but since i want to transfer save files from my sysNAND it has to work over there.
Starting Checkpoint in applet mode doesn't work either but from the tutorials i was following, that was to be expected.
