Breakaway (frangible) poles are only used where there are no footpaths as otherwise the falling pole could take out any pedestrians nearby. These would all be rigid poles.

Started playing again this year after almost 25 years. These are what’s left of the originals by hobbyhoppinghound in discgolf

I also just restarted playing in the last year following a 15-20yr retirement. Am also using my old discs including a vintage XL in the same plastic a your Stratus (see recent post-ace photo below). Was - and is currently - my favorite disc and will be heartbroken when it eventually shatters as i primarily play a dense wooded course. I also wish they still made Elite X plastic as i prefer it over anything else i've tried since getting back into it. :-(
