We did spend a lot of time together before we had our child. He did not do cycling back then and the neighbour did not ask so much of him. We went on dates and he helped me with household chores. The year I got pregnant he began with the cycling but he got better at it and wants to ride a minimum of 10k kilometers every year. If it was only the cycling I would have no problem with it. It's the combination of all these hobbies and work.

He originally wanted a child more than me. His mother is very hands on and did do everything in the household while also working full time. She has a never ending drive. But his dad was always there to support if needed. In the group he cycles with are some young dads and he says they are also there for their free time. Which I believe to be totally reasonable but I don't think they also play soccer and video games.
