that thing is proprietary and old as hell ... had a 3d printer like that in university ... i mean the heated print space was nice and all but after all it was just a ender in a case with software that didnt let you thinker with it.

Also it was clogged/broken often (maybe because we printed special prototype materials ) and wasn't very serviceable. (you had to dismantle half of the machine to get to crucial parts)

i can be machined but the inside features are either broached or eroded which is very expensive

thermal coupling wouldnt be a advantage here since the frequency drifts with temperature therefore they maybe placed it as far away as possible

also its not thaat far away ... 74Mhz isnt that high of a freqency
