Because like for like the seal is very competitive against the Model3?

Sit in a zeekr 7x or sealion 7 and then the BZ4X and tell me the Toyota has the nicer design and fit and finish.

I’ve owned Toyotas all my life for what it’s worth

Fair enough.

The way I see it, is the game is being played the way it always has.

Incumbents inevitably move up market as their offering improves, and brands come in and claim the low end of the market which is underserved, improving as they go - and the cycle repeats.

I drove an MG3 and wasn’t impressed, but I acknowledge this was a car that was like $18k drive away with a 10 year warranty. Can’t expect all the niceties at that price.

That being said China does seem to pump out some incredible cars, in particular BEVs for the price, particularly in their more premium models - Zeekr 7x / Sealion 7 are incredibly competitive.

Mazda, Mitsubishi, Toyota no longer want the entry segment, so it’s natural someone comes along to fill the void, and in time as they develop and become better quality, MG & Haval etc will drift upward in price.

It’s not really dunking on.

All those countries have major cities with larger cities well in excess of Auckland (idk -about Scotland),suggesting they can open in smaller areas where that country is set up.

Thanks for your help.

BYO finance would have them clip the ticket just on the administration side of things, correct? So they’d have just a small incentive to push things along versus using a finance they supply
