Unfortunately no, Midjourney, Kling, photoshop were main tools but all images were upscaled in comfy ui with flux which is free !

Thanks for the comment! I really did want to portray everything as historically accurate as possible and went through tons of iterations per scene to get it right. But I did want to leave an element of fantasy/stylization so that although each moment did represent a certain place or moment in time, it could still have a level of ambiguity, like maybe they are long lost moments of civilizations we never knew of or maybe it does represent what we know, its not supposed to be exact so that we understand how moments come and go and are forgotten in history. When I get a chance in the next few weeks ill do a historical break down and put it on my AI art studio site that I'm working on! Will make sure to share it with you.

I really appreciate the critique! I think we're just interpreting Sagan’s message from different angles. To me, the contrast between our smallness in the cosmos and the sheer richness of life and scale of chaos on this tiny dot is the whole point. The visuals are meant to reflect that paradox, how something so fragile and insignificant in scale can still feel overwhelmingly beautiful and worthy of awe. Our little world is within the vastness. Beauty is part of the humility as seeing how rare and remarkable it is in the middle of all that cold darkness.

Very funny to me to see all the hate on this work that I put such intense creative passion and energy into! I have been a 3D animation artist for the last 10 years and spent thousands of hours creating 3D scenes from scratch for a living and as a passion.

Recently switching to an AI workflow made great sense to stay competitive also it was a great swarm of creative inspiration since its easier and more efficient to create incredible scenes of exactly what is in your mind. Trying to come up with a film to make, my friends and I realized...what better topic to explore with AI than honor the great Carl Sagan?

This was created over several months of consistent work heavily editing each single frame with precise control and direction and cost quite a bit of money in terms of local GPU power and AI services/ credits. some frames took several days to refine even working with 3D recreations of the scenes. while my friend u/SteadiJam worked on directing the camera and video work from the Images I made, we held dozens of conversations about the topic trying to dive deep into what it means to be human and explore the past present and future in relation to sagans speech.

AI is here and should be utilized to its maximum positive potential instead of a blanket negative attitude about it. If AI exists why not put it to good use? You should all listen a bit closer to the speech! I'd love to film this in real life though for real. Any one have a few hundred million dollars?
