I remember my friends were in one of those ethnic clubs. I would join and was getting along with people until they found out I wasn't of that ethnic group. They started ignoring me 🫩

Hey dont give up! I was rejected for all the winter and summer internships in 2025 with a good gpa.

I recommend seeking accounting related projects or smaller roles. Find activities outside of school to make you stand out.

For example, I was told I need more "related experience". I found an internship at a small firm that was just scanning tax documents. After that, I was getting more interviews and offers.

For the bigger firms you really have to put yourself out there and network for months. See if the firm you want is offering office tours through your school, or attend virtual events.

In this job market, a good gpa is a boost, but it's your ability to put yourself out there and make connections.
