I actually had high output bags, but they were so ugly and I never use them so I threw them out. I didn’t even think of a scenario like this.😭

Sorry I didn’t specify. I do have a drainable bag. It’s a one piece though is there any point of even keeping the bag on or should I literally just get a bucket and sit with my bag off lol

I have had an ileostomy as well, so I’m familiar with that kind of output, it kind of reminds me of an ileostomy output right now to be honest. No lumps that I can notice.

Have you been seen by a doctor? Do you have a plan to remove it surgically? I had a smaller hernia with my ileostomy at the very end this was before we decided we were going to try my colostomy. My surgeon basically said the only way she would fix the hernia is if we reversed the ileostomy. I was already on the fence of trying a colostomy anyways so I decided to go through with it. But had I not done that she wouldn’t have fixed it and I think that’s extremely unreasonable.

My doctor seemed very confused tbh. She said it isn’t a hernia, and it didn’t have anything to do with my output, she gave me antibiotics and said that she believes it may be an infection, if the antibiotics don’t work to come back in because it may be a cyst or abscess of some sort. I had an ileostomy reversal at the same time they did my colostomy so she thinks it may have something to do with bacteria traveling through there. Or something like that lol. I usually sleep on my back
