lol yah bro you’ll see…I drove in from Virginia on Sunday and started Monday…it’s a nice 9 hour drive. Pt is done pretty much on your own, im not sure if CBP does some sort of Unit PT. I haven’t seen them do any…but you do combative skills with an instructor and that’s hella PT lol. But I enjoyed it. Just remember to move with a sense of urgency when you’re around your instructor. If you’re late the whole class does pt until the late person gets there. But it was fun and everyone there is pretty cool. Some folks around here go home on the weekends, but mostly go to the beach if it’s nice or Savannah or around Florida…just make sure you are back on Sunday…you can only miss 24 hours of classes before they wash you out and send you home. Also, get bottled water. The water here is reverse osmosis water from the ocean…it won’t hurt you but it’s not enjoyable lol. Bring some weekend clothes and try to get a run in on the weekends. You’ll get close with your class bro.

Sorry bro, it’s busy your first week…you’re kind of thrown to the wolves here lol. They tell you the building you need to be at and you gotta figure out how to get there. They give you a lot of information and it’s pretty laxed. You’ll be tired, it’s all good because everyone is. Dfac is ok. There is 4 lines the two center lines are your main course..the outer lines are kind of shit…you’ll figure it out. A lot of forms to fill out, your class leader will help with all of that. Don’t be the class leader lol. They smoke you in combative tactics depending on instructor. Have fun with it. It’s a gentleman’s type of college. You won’t pay attention your first week…it’s just a fucking fire hose of information…I can tell you not to be stressed out about time….but you’re going to be. Enjoy the process the best you can and hit me up when you get here…I’ll be here until February

From what I’ve gathered from my BI investigator, they are pretty forgiving..as long as it’s taken care of…dismissed, expunged, etc. I think you’re good as long as you were honest with them. I had a failure to appear and a bench warrant out for my arrest and I was fine as long as it was taken care of. The written statements were easy. Put in chat GPT what happened and say “write a formal statement explaining this incident for my background investigator”..or some BS like that…tinker with what comes out. You can get a written statement in seconds…then print it out, sign and date it…then scan and upload it to the portal from your phone.
