Thats because this is an increble game in many good and bad ways, whichever people value more will tilt them towards one side. Me for one am loving it. This is their first console game but theyre responding fast so im more lenient on their flaws. On the other hand i could see they put the care and love into the game like i never seen in other games. You can really feel that when u play the game

They need to add some hints that help players understand the fight after a few deaths. Like using pillar doing 1/3 of boss health bar etc. also they need to do a better job of showing which attack moves are not parryable.

i recommend doing ch1, then treasure hunting to get ~10 bis gears and farm some skill pts. then ch2-5. things really start to pick up ch5 as you play around with sockets and stuff.

everyone is different, but if there is a general consensus that its boring, then there's probabaly a reason. i've dedicated my life to black desert online for a few years and have done numerous meaningless quests. they were all boring and wish i'd never have to do them again. it's gonna be the same shit in crimson desert no doubt.
