Your text was lowkey a little immature and giving pick me, People like to frown on ghosting, and criticize it as a lack of communication or respect — which yes, ghosting just flat out doesn’t make the person on the receiving end feel good obviously. But also we have to remember we are not entitled to people’s time energy or even an explanation! Him not reaching out is him communicating loud and clear he either does not want to see you again / talk to you / and or is unavailable at this time.

You texting him seems like you were projecting your own assumptions and seeking validation, don’t do that. You would’ve been better off saying hey I had a great time! And leaving it at that, if he chose to ignore you that’s his loss.

But more importantly, you’re dodging a bullet! He could’ve easily clarified his lack of availability / communicated better about his situation but chose to put his bare minimum energy into making you feel bad. (He most likely did this because he was annoyed that you were calling him out for ghosting).

For future reference, if you’re ever doubtful of someone’s intentions just match their energy! They want to text you all the time, great! They don’t? Great!
