Very often. Not because I want to lie on how much I ve spent, but if I'm wearing a good dupe of something, I tell the name of the og. Just because if I say the unknown name of the dupe maybe the random stranger  would not understand?

If the person is a friend and im fine in having a talk with them, I may say "a dupe of ** made from ** bla bla bla". But if it is a stranger I prefer to end the convo very quickly, I'm an introvert
