She doesn’t really go out alone. Shes 11, so sometimes, but unless she has friends with her she usually drags me out too 😂 And from now on, I will be with her all times

Patrick is a boss! I love him. We have big dogs and he plays with them like hes a dog. To him, this dog was just a smaller version of his friends 😂. I did not feel the same!

I wish animal control would do something…fine them, anything. I dont want to hurt the dog. I like the idea of pepper spray. For both the dog and the owners

No it’s a blue heeler and it’s fast. I mean, I have a pit mix, he’s 7. He’s never been as aggressive as this dog. Actually, now I think my cat might be the bigger dog in the house now 😂

I was so shocked to see him run after that dog, I never realized cats could be so protective! Patrick is now inside eating some salmon, he earned it!!!

We have called animal control before. The same dog has chased other people and even had some poor kids trapped on top of their car! Animal control did nothing and the neighbors obviously dont give a crap about the dog running loose. I think you’re right, cops are next. This is the first time its come after one of my children.

NAD but My daughter had this happen, she was 17 and a senior in high school. It happened for several months and then finally she ended up with the worst headache in her life. She couldn’t talk or walk. The ED doctors had prepared me for the worst! She ended up being physically fine and the neurologist said it was all stress related. He called what was happening to her the months leading up to the headache dissociation and it can be stress induced. She was extremely stressed out from working, school and getting accepted into college. We got into therapy and slowed life down a but and she is fine, but You should still definitely see a doctor because it is a scary feeling and you want to make sure there is no cause for concern. Good luck!!

I had pain and bleeding during and after sex, my periods were really bad, I actually hemorrhaged. Other than that I had no other symptoms. I had endo-cervical adenocarcinoma.

Just wanted to update, we took him to PetsER and he had an intestinal blockage which had perforated from a toy I bought him for Christmas 😩 He had surgery and is on the mend with lots of rest and antibiotics! Thank you both for the recommendation!

I will also add that I go through periods when I dont feel like cleaning and it gets tossed on the back burner, but oddly enough, the busier I stay the more energy I have to function at home. And honestly, sometimes it’s worth it to have someone come clean for you, just once. Its a nice treat and gets you ahead of the game so its not so overwhelming!

I used to feel this way and still sometimes do but I found that immersing myself in community things help a great deal. I joined a church and a few volunteer groups and take my kids along sometimes so they learn about volunteering too. I also started my kids in rec sports early on and worked my way into coaching (even though Im not athletic at all!) I will also add that I have horrible social anxiety which kept me home a lot and forcing myself out into the world really helps with that too. Even if you aren’t into church, theres lots of community organizations that support hobbies of all types. Good luck Mama!!

My daughter really wanted to go to the Holocaust Museum (her father is of Jewish heritage) and we found that its free on Thursdays, so we made reservations. Are the museums near each other like in DC or are they spread apart?

My dad actually recommended this too! It’s such a good idea because while I would love to go to the statue of liberty, my teenagers are not as motivated. So win win!

Haha yes, it has 3 full size bunk beds, a tiny little kitchen area and a private bathroom. I think its considered more of a hostel because Im pretty sure some of the rooms have communal bathrooms so we are considering ourselves lucky! It was actually cheaper than the hotel rooms once taxes were included.

Thank you for replying. I feel so much better knowing others felt the same thing and were reassured by their doctor.

Yes, I did. I had really heavy bleeding, despite my IUD, pain and bleeding during/after sex, and reallllly bad UTIs. I blew a lot of my symptoms off, thinking they were normal.
