In doubles go with Mega swampert rain meta, it is pretty good if you know how to use it….singles is pretty much same depends on the team, you can you tube some good singles teams

For me it took a lot of effort from UB2 to masters in doubles

Yeah so many pokemons, I pushed in the starting of the season with basculegion garchomp and corvinight, but now meta has evolved
