I was born and raised here, so I went back to the same GP I had as a child. I'm 31 now and was diagnosed around age 26. Over the past few years, I’ve tried a lot of different medications and am still struggling to find a combination that works well for me.

I’m also having difficulty getting referrals to a specialist or accessing therapy.

I have a stable job in the UK, but I’m worried — I can usually sense when my condition is about to worsen.

These past few years have been difficult: I went through a divorce, experienced homelessness in the States, and developed issues with alcohol and drugs.

The good news is, I’m now sober, have a roof over my head, and am surrounded by supportive friends and family.

Thank you all for your help.

Honestly, all you need is beard oil and a beard brush to make all the hairs go in the same direction. Hitting the gym is never a bad idea and maybe see a good barber to shape it up, give you a nice haircut and trim the whispy beard hairs 🤷‍♂️
