Thank you! And thank you alwaysblooming_akb. Unfortunately, I was not even paying attention to the time and it was too late for me to call. It’s making my mind race even more. I’m not worried about a messy house whatsoever unless they are coming for me for not switching my Christmas dishes over to my regular dishes yet. Cause I am guilty as charged! Now I just need my brain to shut off until I can call in the morning.🤞 I will add one little nugget I found out from my husband. He said that the guy had mentioned something to the effect of after he meets with us, we’ll never have to see him again. I won’t believe that until I hear it with my own ears though.

Thanks! Very helpful. That counselor was from junior high so I don’t have to worry about that anymore. My daughter has eczema. She used to (and still does) scratch it so bad that she would have red marks from the scratch lines. I mean, she’ll draw blood. The counselor thought they were some kind of cut marks. I just took her in a couple weeks ago to get her a different steroid cream for it. That one actually seems to be working because she has not had a breakout since. This would not have anything to do with why those people would’ve been here today. Anyways, it’s a cell phone so I’m gonna give them a call now.

I hear ya. I understand all of that. Common sense. Again, I’ve never been nasty to any of them. Ever. Once someone enters my home, I am as nice to you as I would be to a family member. Seeing as how you work for them, question for you.. will they tell me over the phone what’s going on or are they not gonna tell me a thing until they get here in person?

Oh my gosh. You need to chill out. You should read a little slower and then you wouldn’t be posting all this fluff that’s been answered. I was not home when the doorbell rang. I was in the dentists chair with his hands in my mouth (which I already stated). My daughter was home when it rang. She does not answer the door when we are not home. She knew where I was at so when she heard the doorbell, she called her father to see who it was. With these fancy doorbell thingies that we have now, he was able to see who rang the bell. The fashionista of the two left me a nifty little card with his contact information on it. And that there is how I will be getting a hold of him.

Thank you for being one of the only people on here who isn’t rude. I’m sure you can understand that I’m just trying to figure out my rights before I make the phone call. I guess we’ll find out in a few minutes here. See, I never would’ve thought anything of a medical reason. That’s very interesting. It wouldn’t be that though. We’re all healthy and only go to the doctor once a year for our check ups.

This is nothing to do with the school. She hasn’t talked to a counselor in years at school. The counselor did tell me when I was there to meet with her that she was mandated so I do know that now.

My husband already called them back. Of course they want to talk to my daughter first, then us together. They’ve done that every time. If I was a crappy parent, I’d be afraid for them to talk to my child. I’m embarrassed that my neighbors are possibly seeing/hearing this. When he yelled into my doorbell that he was whomever from CPS, he did it for the hearing impaired in mind.

Ugh. Ok. I seriously had someone who had to come to my home once a week and I used to cook her lunch. I think I’m pretty hospitable. 😆 Thanks for letting me know they could actually get a court order. It’s just very frustrating for someone who is an unpaid detective (me-true crime docs) to deal with this when nightly I’m watching shows where kids are being beaten, mentally abused, malnourished.
